Daniel Muck, born in Vienna in 1990, began his musical education at Music School in Staatz in Violin, Double Bass, Euphonium and Percussion. In June 2010 he graduated from Music High School Vienna and concluded his studies at University of Music and performing Arts Vienna with Magister artium degree in March 2015, where he is already teaching “Symphonic Wind Music” since 2016. Since 2024 he is also teaching at University Vienna.

For eight years this young musician was conductor of the Youth Orchestra Staatz, from 2013 till 2023 he was conductor of the Symphonic Youth Wind Orchestra Vienna, from 2016 till 2020 Principal of the Youth Wind Philharmonics Lower Austria, from 2018 till 2023 Principal Conductor of the Youth Symphony Orchestra Vienna, since 2021 he is conductor of Jeunesse Music Camp at Mariazell, since 2022 founder and conductor of the “Waldviertler Symphoniker“ and since 2022 conductor of Danube Brass Ensemble. Guest-Conductor at Orchestra of Technical University Vienna, Youth Symphony Orchestra Lower Austria and Youth Symphony Orchestra Carinthia. At Classic Festival Kirchstetten he was commissioned as composer and conductor for the Austrian Brass Band and the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2021 he worked again with the Brno Orchestra and recorded his Piano Concerto there together with pianist Karl Eichinger under the Gramola label. Muck was also commissioned to compose a trombone concerto for Wolfgang Strasser (Vienna Philharmonics) and a bass-trombone concerto for Mark Gaal (V.Ph.) and he was also arranger of “Phil Blech Wien” and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

He got three composition prices from the Austrian Composers' Association, one recognition Award of the government of Lower Austria and one Price of the Dr. Ernst Koref Foundation.
His works were already performed at Wiener Musikverein, Porgy & Bess, Wiener Konzerthaus, Grafenegg, Brucknerhaus Linz, Salzburger Festspiele, Opera Graz, Hofburg Innsbruck, European Forum Alpbach, Wiener Stadthalle, Konzerthaus Berlin, Jazz Festival Athens and Carnegie Hall New York. Productions as conductor and arranger with musicians like Natalia Ushakova, Piotr Beczała, Ryan Speedo Green or Wiener Sängerknaben. Performances as Musician and Choir-Singer under Riccardo Muti, Franz Welser-Möst, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Christian Thielemann und Simon Rattle.

Daniel Muck won the Respighi Prize 2013 of the Chamber Orchestra of New York. In July 2014 he was Guest-Conductor of the Youth Orchestra of Central Jersey and got the Special Award of the Busan Maru International Music Festival in South Korea in the ensuing autumn. In December 2014 he made his debut at Carnegie Hall in New York and in January 2015 he won the Brazosport Original Composition Contest in Texas. In 2016 Daniel Muck was awarded as a winner at Strauß Contest "BePhilharmonic" (Vienna Philharmonics) and was made an honorary member of the University of Northern Iowa Wind Ensemble in 2023.
