Yiannis Papadopoulos

I am a professional guitar teacher/session player from Greece. During my studies at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB - degree in Accounting and Finance) I got my degree in classical guitar and classical harmony. After many years of self tuition, lessons and clinics I developed my style of playing in the electric guitar, based on rock/fusion concepts. Since 2002 I have worked as a session musician in several bands, playing at the most famous clubs in Athens, Greece and making TV appearances in various Greek shows and events. Moreover, I have participated in many recordings by Greek and International artists as a guest musician. In April 2012 I became a member of Goin Through The Band, a very famous mainstream Greek band, with which we are touring Greece, participating in huge events. I have participated in worldwide Guitar contests. In few of them I have won the 1st, 2nd, 4th and the 5th position:

Currently I am preparing 2 books regarding guitar tuition to be published in late 2013. I proudly endorse PRS Guitars, Mesa Boogie Amps, Wampler Pedals, Spectraflex Cables, Ernie Ball strings Intune Guitar Picks and Tsakalis Audiotubeworks, with whom I produced my all tube signature amp and preamp models.
At this time I am dividing my time between recording my personal instrumental cd, rehearsing/ playing live with Goin Through The Band, and teaching students from Greece and all over the world via Skype.
